In Commemoration Of The 25th Anniversary Of The Fall Of The Berlin Wall, Lange Organized Wonderful Art Creation Activities In The East Side Gallery

The fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 marked the beginning of a new era for Lange. The unification of Germany opened the door to the reconstruction of Lange and reinvigorated Saxony’s fine watchmaking.   Street artist Jakub Hortig painted a large-scale LANGE 1 work with spray paint. This watch has been the brand’s signature since Lange returned to the Saxony watchmaking world. Unlike in the past, the number displayed on the Lange’s large calendar changed from the usual ’25’ to ‘9’, which symbolized November 9, 1989.
