Born in a watch family in Geneva, Rousseau watched his grandfather busy in the watchmaking loft from an early age. It was there that Rousseau realized the value of being a watchmaker. In Rousseau’s writings, he once described this: ‘I seem to be seeing an open watch for the first time. Although I don’t know the mechanical principles, I have to sincerely praise the works in front of me. I don’t know these parts It’s all for doing, but I understand that everything is the work of others, and I admire the meticulousness of watchmakers. ”
多 More than 20 watches and clocks on display this time were signed by Rousseau’s family members. Rousseau’s family has produced many master watchmakers, showing that in the era of Rousseau, Geneva has become the leader in fine watchmaking.
